THE ABOITIZ GROUP

The Aboitiz Group of Companies led by PBSP-founding member Aboitiz and Company (ACO), continues to touch the lives of Filipino communities programs on education, enterprise development, primary health and childcare. The Aboitiz Foundation, implementing arm of ACO’s social development programs, coordinates with other Aboitiz companies for their respective CSR initiatives.  Among the Group’s achievements are the following: 1,300 scholars supported every year, 261 classrooms built, over 1,000 computers donated, over 60 computer labs refurbished, and over 15,000 students who have benefited from library kit donations. Under enterprise development, the Aboitiz Foundation conducts technical skills training and the microfinancing of deserving cooperatives. In primary health and childcare, it constructed 18 piped water distribution systems for marginalized communities and conducts medical, dental and optical missions. Aboitiz subsidiaries also initiate and implement projects in their local areas of operations.
