SM INVESTMENTS CORPORATION

SM Foundation, supported by the SM Group, donated school buildings to 27 public schools and its College Scholarship program produced 1,180 graduates. In 2009, 52 out of its 105 graduates received Latin honors.  In health services, the Foundation has reached out to 300,000 beneficiaries, renovated 54 public hospital wards, health clinics and activity centers.  To help small farmers, the Foundation held the “Kabalikat sa Kabuhayan” training course that produced 2,088 graduates who now help renovate churches and public buildings.  SM Prime Holdings Inc. also carries out the SM CARES Program in 40 malls nationwide.  This program integrates an environmental program as well as offers care and assistance to customers with special needs such as the disabled, special children, the elderly and nursing mothers.
