JOLLIBEE FOODS CORPORATION

Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) established the Jollibee Foundation in 2005 that integrates the strength of the food service company into its social development programs.  The Foundation’s Busog, Lusog, Talino (BLT) in-school feeding program provides daily lunch for undernourished Grade 1 and 2 pupils in public schools all over the country. Low-cost, nutritious meals are prepared by the children’s parents, while alliance-building among local education stakeholders ensures the sustainability of the program. The Foundation’s Bridging Farmers program, on the other hand, assists small farmers in production and marketing, and links them to institutional markets. The Foundation also promotes the access of poor high school graduates to higher education, helps victims of disasters, and conducts tree planting activities.
