PBSP recently sent a letter of thanks to donors and partners for Post-Yolanda efforts, informing them of the updates about their contributions.
As of March 31, we have received PhP 88,831,621.65 through your generosity and of other individual donors, corporations, and funding agencies. Of this amount, PhP 82,107,035.37 came from corporate donors; PhP 1,491,391.60 from individual donors; and PhP 5,233,194.68 from funding agencies and PBSP’s existing relief funds. Of the roughly PhP 89 million received, we have spent 36% or PhP 32,390,561.40, which benefitted 23,485 families, and 7,066 students and teachers while 6,789 families, and 3,312 more children and teachers will be served with our projects in the pipeline.

Mondelez Philippines, Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), and the Department of Education (DepEd), signed a memorandum of agreement to adopt Panalaron Central Elementary School in Tacloban, Leyte.
Panalaron Central Elementary School is one of more than 3,000 schools reported by DepEd that were damaged by typhoon Yolanda in the Visayas.
