PBSP participates in Presidential Assistant for Rehabilitation and Recovery Workshop

Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) recently participated in a workshop conducted by the Presidential Assistant for Rehabilitation and Recovery (PARR), wherein the PARR has called for the help of private sector and NGOs to focus support in the areas of Health and Nutrition (hospitals and command centers), Education (schools and evacuation centers), Housing, and Livelihood.

To effectively implement the strategy, the 171 affected cities and municipalities have been grouped into 24 Areas for Intervention and Development and as of latest, several leading companies have adopted 18 out of the 24 areas.

During the workshop, these Development Sponsors (DS) updated PARR with their accomplishments and ongoing projects and initiatives. The roles of the Development Sponsors were also discussed in the workshop.
