In the Philippines, Business Takes on Disaster Relief

Clearly, there are bigger challenges ahead. As we set-up this coordinating mechanism, we will also be able to put a plan that will identify priority initiatives that would detail projects that would need further support so we can scale-up the impact. Related to this, we are also planning to go on a fund raising road show there in the US early next year to seek grants as well as direct investments in business solutions that would provide sustainable solutions to the rebuilding efforts.

This is all for now and will keep you all posted on major developments as they come. In the meantime, I ask that you please share this post and the PBSP disaster response page with your networks. Informing everyone on our efforts is the least we can do for all the generous support and concern that have come our way.

In one final note, I would also like to thank the Shared Value Initiative network and our friends in FSG for all their concern for our country and our people.
