17th Festival of Trees to raise funds for disaster relief efforts.

The Makati Garden Club (MGC) and the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) recently held the 17th Festival of Tress Press launch at the Makati Garden Club. 

Guests and members of the media had a glimpse of what to expect during the fund raising gala this coming November 14, 2013, 5:30 PM onwards at the Jaguar/Land Rover Showroom, 32nd & 4th Crescent Park West, Bonifacio, Global City.

Patrons can once again look forward to an extensive array of fabulous items for auction, entertainment, and the first green social design fashion tableau in the Philippines by international sustainable lifestyle designer, PJ Arañador.

The prestigious event has helped raise funds for countless marginalized Filipinos from all over the country. With the recent disasters that our country has experienced, from typhoons to habagat, and the recent 7.2 quake that affected Bohol and Cebu in the Visayas, yielding social and economic devastation, there is an urgent need to address various environmental issues. So for its 17th year, the vibrant and altruistic affair aims to raise funds for PBSP’s immediate and effective disaster response in times of calamities.
