Local lawmakers to attend education reform workshop
The Union of Local Authorities of the Philippines (ULAP) supported by Australian AID (AusAID) and The Asia Foundation (TAF) with Coalition of Change members: DLSU-Jesse Robredo Institute of Governance (JRIG) and Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) will be holding a Local Education Policy Workshop for Local Chief Executives on October 9-10, 2013 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ortigas.
Aimed to validate the needs and issues in local education governance, the event will be attended by Local Chief Executives (LCEs) to integrate their responsibilities as advocates of local education reform and how they propose to further develop it. The workshop will have discussion on topics like Local Government Experience and Issues on Education Governance and Experience and Issues on Co-implementing Education Programs with LGUs.
