UNION GALVASTEEL CORPORATION

Union Galvasteel Corporation collaborates with academic institutions and NGOs in the conduct of skills training and development. The company supports students who major in electro-pneumatics and hydraulics at the Dualtech Center, Laguna. It partners with University of the Philippines-Los Baños, Mindanao State University–Iligan Institute of Technology, Batangas State University, Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, and Letran College, Calamba for the conduct of an expanded student in-plant training program.  Aside from this, it grants scholarships to engineering and technology students in La Union province.  As a further demonstration of its continuing support for education, the company regularly distributes school desks to public elementary schools.
