PARTNERS FOR EDUCATION AND ENVIRONMENT – The Manila Electric Company (MERALCO) recently turned over its initial donation of over PHP1 million worth of used lead-acid batteries (ULABs) to the Motolite-Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) Balik Baterya Program. The funds will be used to support One Meralco Foundation’s solar electrification of remote public schools in the country.
