PBSP holds iFLY Health Forum for companies in Davao
Representatives from some of the top companies in Davao City will gather on January 13 in a forum at the MyHotel to discuss health opportunities in the workplace.
Organized by Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), the “iFLY Program: Keep Fit, Live Well, Stay Young” forum will present the benefits of a company-based health initiative to its employees and beneficiaries, and ultimately, to the growth of the company.
Participants are representatives from PLDT, Paglas Corporation, Phoenix Petroleum, JEWM Agro-Industrial Corporation, NEH Phils., Alsons Devt., SGV, Northeast Solutions, Inc. (NESI), Franklin Baker Company of the Phils., One Network Bank, and Hedcor/ABC.
Data from the World Health Organization (WHO) reveals that health problems hamper the work performance of employees. These include increased smoking and drinking, poor diet and nutrition, physical inactivity, HIV and sexually transmitted infections (STI), Tuberculosis and poor health in the family.
