The beneficiaries were chosen residents of Barangays San Miguel, Pansol, Bagong Pook, Linga and Pinagbayanan, which are all under the jurisdiction of the fourth-class municipality of Pila, province of Laguna. These were the hardest hit areas with 7,000 houses partially damaged.
Each family received a shelter repair kit consisting of 8 pieces plywood, 10 pieces of corrugated GI sheets, 2 pieces plain GI sheet, 10 pieces lumber, 6 kilos of various nails, hammer and saw. They also received PhP 2,000.00 cash to help defray possible labor costs.
