PBSP commemorates International Day for the Eradication of Poverty

Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) Executive Director Rafael ‘Rapa’ C. Lopa recently sat down with some members of the media at the Bayleaf Hotel in Intamuros, Manila during the organization’s commemoration of the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty (October 17). He reported the substantial gains of the foundation’s projects in the areas of Health, Education, Environment, and Livelihood and Enterprise Development for the past fiscal year. Lopa also urged the private sector to help address the plight of the poor through strategic partnerships with organizations such as PBSP which is scaling up its evolving work in social development.
