Messengers of Humanity: Kristine L. Jimeno-Rivadelo

As we celebrate World Humanitarian Day this month, we honor the people we work with in reducing poverty in the Philippines. They are our Messengers of Humanity:

“I am blessed to be in an organization that allows me to see and know better how underserved some communities are. These people I meet – farmers, fisherfolks, indigeneous peoples, urban poor – inspire me to continuously challenge those who have and those who can to reach out. And perhaps, because I am also a mother, my prayer is for my child to grow in a better society,” said Kristine L. Jimeno-Rivadelo.

Ms. Rivadelo is the manager of Philippine Business for Social Progress’ (PBSP) Luzon Regional Center . She has been with the organization for 11 years now, working her way up the ranks starting from an on-the-job trainee to a top-level officer.
