To His Excellency President Benigno Aquino III, to the founders who gave PBSP its original vision, to our trustees who continue to enlarge that vision, to our members and partners who provide support— thank you for joining us tonight.

We come together to honor a single powerful idea – the idea that business can do more than do business, that WE can change lives, and transform society into something more than a marketplace. This occasion should also remind us that we’re tied together in life, in this nation – that a person becomes human not as individual, but in community, that the despair of one touches us all.
