Jannie Corpus-Sampani, 12, was among the first one to arrive at the Paraiso Verde where a gathering of teachers, local officials and stakeholders of education will be held. The 45-minute jeep ride from Sto. Niño Elementary School where she is presently in Grade VI, did not dampen her eagerness to join in the daylong round table dialogue (RTD).

This will be her first time to speak before a big crowd, not of children, but of teachers, parents, local officials, dignitaries from USAID, the International Youth Foundation (IYF), Education Development Center (EDC) and other representatives from member-organizations of the Education & Livelihood Skills Alliance or ELSA.
